SNP Calls For Biomass Proposal to be Scrapped

Leith SNP Councillor Rob Munn has called for Forth Energy's plan for a huge Biomass Energy Plant to be scrapped. Cllr Munn said "I think it's wrong for Leith and wrong for Scotland. I question the need and the sustainability of this proposal. If Scotland, indeed, if the UK cannot supply the wood to fuel large scale biomass then its the wrong way to go."
The latest issue of the Leith Independent is given over to the Biomass issue giving information on how to get more information regarding the plan.
More information can be found at www.forthenergy.co.uk and www.noleithbiomass.org.uk
